If you have a child, know someone who has a child or have seen people who have had a child, you know it can wreak havoc on the body. Multiple pregnancies can turn a once happy woman into someone unrecognizable. Don’t get me wrong, I will never regret having my children. They are truly blessings from God. Having them at 39 and 40 was a little unplanned, but His timing, not ours.
Now add-on multiple surgeries, three of them abdominal in a short few years. This mama was out of shape and unmotivated. It seemed that every time I attempted to make myself healthier and more fit, I hurt myself or won myself another visit to the operating room.
My trainer even made a comment about how positive I was, even through I wasn’t where I wanted to be and I kept getting hurt…keep in mind she was a young and fit little thing that could probably bench press me…lol.
So when my friend told me about these “crazy wraps” I was skeptical. Truth be told, when she started talking about wraps, I thought she was talking about food. Low and behold, she was talking about some little cloth woven wrap infused with botanicals. She invited me to attend a wrap party with her and provided me the opportunity to try it myself. Fast forward three days and I noticed a chance in the appearance of my skin. The area that I wrapped was tighter and more firm. That prompted me to try another and I eventually completed a full treatment of four.
When I tell you the wrap changed my life, I am not kidding. It provided me with motivation to make other positive changes in my life (I will save those for another post). I have personally witnessed transformations in people that are incredible!
